The Irish blockbuster novel is arriving sooner than expected
The weekend is here, and with it Disney+ have announced great news for fans waiting to see the Irish author's blockbuster movie for the first time.
When the news of cinemas across the globe being forced to shut their doors first hit us, it was hard to imagine how on earth we were going to see the latest blockbuster movies for the foreseeable future. Thankfully however, movie studios have done us a stellar service by releasing numerous titles on demand - and 'Artemis Fowl' on Disney+ is one such release.
The blockbuster adventure, based on Irish author Eoin Colfer's book series, was recently given a new home on Disney+. This morning we've been given a release date for the highly-anticipated movie, and it's just around the corner.

Starring Judi Dench, Colin Farrell, Josh Gad, and Lara McDonnell, and Ferdia Shaw in the title role, the movie was directed by 'Cinderella' and 'Murder on the Orient Express' director, Kenneth Branagh. 'Artemis Fowl' will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ in just a few weeks time, at the beginning of June.

Due to the worldwide situation, 'Artemis Fowl' might not be the only release heading to Disney+ over the next few months either.
