Zombies, and heists, and mercenaries, oh my!
The first trailer for 'Army of the Dead' which is coming to Netflix in the coming weeks, has arrived.
'Army of the Dead' marks the latest film from director Zack Snyder.
His recent re-cut of 'Justice League' got a big reception from fans.
The action-horror flick is set in Las Vegas in the wake of a zombie apocalypse.
It thus calls back to Snyder's breakthrough movie 'Dawn of the Dead'.
A group of mercenaries venture into the quarantine zone in the hopes of pulling off a major heist.
Star of the movie Dave Bautista has previously said that he turned down a role in 'The Suicide Squad', which would have seen him reunited with his 'Guardians of the Galaxy' writer-director, in order to work with Snyder.
He also said that the script "was a lot deeper and had more layers than I thought."
'Army of the Dead' also stars Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Matthias Schweighöfer, Theo Rosse, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Cassidy, Samantha Win, Tig Notaro, and Garret Dillahunt.
Snyder penned the story and wrote the screenplay with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold.
