Blistering hot psychrock new-comers Django Django will play The Button Factory on Saturday October 27th. The UK quartet's self-titled debut, released earlier this year, earned the band huge commercial and critical success as well as a Mercury Music Prize Nomination for Album of the Year. Their recent tour included a sold out show at Dublin's The Grand Social, and at Body&Soul Solstice Festival where they delivered one of the performances of the weekend.

For the last three years, Django Django have been busy doing great things in the East London bedroom slept in by their drummer, producer and de facto leader David Maclean. The result of those great things is a great self-titled debut record.

The avant-pop outfit have been compared to The Beta Band and Hot Chip, but that doesn't do them justice, they combine sci-fi synths, African tribal beats and hypnotic three part harmonies to create mesmerising music that you can dance to. Django Django consists of vocalist and guitarist Vinny Neff, drummer Dave Maclean (a brother of Beta Band's keyboard player John Maclean), Jimmy Dixon on bass and Tommy Grace on keyboards.

We have a pair of tickets to Django Django at The Button Factory on Saturday 27th October to give away with thanks to Heineken. Visit this link to throw your hat into the ring!
