Bono only recently said that Donald Trump is ‘potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America’, and now he’s bringing the message home through his music.
In their first live performance of the year, U2 played at at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas last Friday.
During a performance of crowd favourite Desire, the band sampled Trump's voice and showed a video of him on the screen behind them, intercut with some weird (and not particularly subtle) crucifix and gambling imagery.
And in case they didn’t get it, Bono tells the audience: ‘What do you have to lose? Everything!’
