Almost fifty years to the day since their career-defining performance on The Ed Sullivan Show Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, one half of The Beatles, rolled back the clocks and performed live together once more for the first time in almost five years.
The duo performed 'Queenie Eye' from McCartney's latest album New but, perhaps disappointingly, didn't even come close to reference any of the more famous material that some Beatles fans might have expected - or at least hoped - to see.
The Beatles were among the bands honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy, the body which oversees the Grammys, along with Clifton Chenier, the Isley Brothers, Kraftwerk, Kris Kristofferon, Armando Manzanero and Maud Powell.
