The NME Awards took place last night, and Liam Gallagher was on hand to pick up his 'Godlike Genius' award and of course, throw a few amusing quips into the mix.

One of them happened on the red carpet before he even made it in the door, when he was asked by a journalist who his Villain of the Year was.

"Gotta be Noel," he said. "I'm being fuckin' serious, dunno what you're laughing for. He's worse than Kim Jong-fuckin'-Tung, or whatever he's called. And he's worse than Donald Trump. He's the biggest liar and biggest faker in the business - so yeah, him."

When the journalist asked "What about Piers Morgan?", he responded "What about him? He's worse than Piers Morgan, as well."
