To be perfectly honest with you, we're surprised this doesn't happen more.
There's no question that Niall Horan is now what you call a 'big time' solo artist, with his number one US album and his various recent award show performances.
However, it seems that Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland - who introduced him at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, as he played his song 'Slow Hands' - is not au fait with the Irish name Niall and called him 'Neil' instead.
She later took to Twitter to correct her pronunciation, and in fairness, Nialler took it well himself. No hard feelings, Kylie.
