A brand new teaser trailer to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories has been released to the web. The clip shows the French electronic duo playing with Chic's Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams playing a funk-tinged new song called 'Get Lucky'.
Rodgers and Pharrell are just two of the special guests listed as being part of the album - Daft Punk's fourth studio album. Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Panda Bear and Italian disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder are all also confirmed to make appearances on the record.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Pharrell spoke of how the Daft Punk collaboration came about. After meeting Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo at a party for Madonna, Pharrell told them he'd do anything on the new album. "Whatever you do, call me - I'll play tambourine on it. They looked at me and were like, 'we'll be in touch'".
Meanwhile, an extended version of 'Get Lucky' (though its a fan edit and not the real thing) has also made its way online and you can listen to that here if you're so inclined.
First great singalong tune of the summer? Our money's on this being a BIG hit.
Random Access Memories will be released on May 21st.
