Beyoncé gets 15 minutes, Rihanna gets four separate slots to basically turn the MTV Video Music Awards into the Rihanna Bowl.

Rihanna was honoured with the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at last night's Video Music Awards, and while others would choose to do one performance to showcase all their hits, Ri Ri decided that four individual performances were in order and blessed everyone with all her hits in differently themed medleys, separating her bangers from her ballads and knocking them all out of the park.

First up we got a stomper of a mashup of 'Don't Stop The Music', 'Only Girl (In The World)', 'We Found Love' and 'Where Have You Been', which got the first of many standing ovations.

Then we were treated to a dancehall medley that brought it back to Rihanna's Jamaican roots with a mashup of 'Rude Boy', 'Pon de Replay', 'What's My Name' and 'Work'.

Following that we were treated to a 'Needed Me', 'Pour It Up', and 'Bitch Better Have My Money' medley to showcase Ms. Fenty's edgier side.

And finally RiRi showed us all what she's capable of by belting out 'Stay', 'Diamonds' and 'Love On The Brain', just before Drake went on to declare his 'love' for her and she promptly shot him down.

All in all, a good night for one Robyn Fenty.
