On Monday night, a terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, UK, killed at least 22 people and injured many more.
After the attack, celebrities flooded social media with tributes to the victims and love for the singer.
Among those was Harry Styles, whose hometown is Manchester and was performing a concert last night in Mexico.
He stopped the concert to thank the people for being there and proceeded to make an emotional speech about Manchester. He said that the incident ‘left him with a hole in his heart’ and that “when I booked this show, I wanted to celebrate with you, but tonight doesn’t feel like a night to celebrate.
“We have a choice, every single day that we wake up, of what we can put into the world, and I ask you to please choose love every single day.”
He concluded by saying he'd only be playing a small acoustic set rather than a full show (but will return to Mexico at a later date for a full show), and asked fans to join him in an emotional moment of silence in honour of the victims.
