Blur frontman Damon Albarn has revealed that his first solo album will be called Everyday Robots and will hit record store shelves on April 25th. You can watch the debut single from the record - the title track in fact - above.
The announcement came on Albarn's official Twitter page, as well as an image of the record's official artwork. It was also revealed on his Facebook account that the album will feature collaborations with Brian Eno and Natasha 'Bat For Lashes' Khan.
Late last year Albarn uploaded a teaser video for the record to YouTube (which you can see here), telling Rolling Stone in an interview that the music on the album is "sort of folk soul".
The Blur man is expected to embark on a solo tour this year - which will incorporate solo material, as well as hits from Blur and Gorillaz - and has also indicated that Blur will begin work on a new album of their own once his solo touring duties are complete.
