The final music video of Chris Cornell's career has been unveiled, and it's a touching ode to the plight of refugees.
More specifically, 'The Promise' is taken from the soundtrack of the film of the same name, which is a drama about refugees from the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1917.
The video was co-directed by Irish director Meiert Avis, who told Rolling Stone that Cornell asked them to make the video hopeful, despite the heavy subject matter.
Cornell died by suicide last month at the age of 52.
