He may be current frontman of Queen, but Adam Lambert is also a noted fan of George Michael.

The singer took part in a tribute to the late star in Los Angeles over the weekend, where he was being honoured for his decades of humanitarian work at the Project Angel Food's annual fundraising event, the Angel Awards.

Taking to the stage to perform three of Michael's songs, Lambert said: "George Michael was a God-gifted voice from the heavens - and he raised half a million dollars for this organisation."

He then sang 'One More Try' and 'Faith', ending by saying "Now I know my way around a Queen song, so I'm gonna connect this circle and we're gonna do 'Somebody to Love".
