Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Lizzo and more performed

One of the biggest nights on the music calendar took place last night when the VMAs rolled into the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

A host of big names attended the ceremony, which was presented by LL Cool J, Jack Harlow and Nicki Minaj, and saw Taylor Swift scoop the 'Video of the Year' gong (and announce her new album in the process).

Performers included Red Hot Chili Peppers (who received the Global Icon award), Lizzo, Jack Harlow, Nicki Minaj, BLACKPINK and more, while Italian rock band Maneskin caused a stir when frontman Damiano David showed more of his bum than the audience were expecting.
