ASIWYA and SOFFT Nights will give live music fans something to look forward to
The gig and festival scene has taken a battering in 2020, to put it mildly.
We've had to make do with live-streamed events until now - however, plans for some interesting gigs and events have started to crop up, giving live music fans something to tentatively look forward to.
Belfast rock band And So I Watch You From Afar have announced a drive-in gig later this month, aptly-titled 'And So I Watch You From A Car'. It'll take place on September 26th at Catalyst (formerly known as the Science Park) at Queen's Island - which is in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. Tickets are £20 per car and on sale now.

A very special event is also taking place in the village of Dunderry, Co. Meath on October 2nd and 3rd.
Paul Noonan (Bell X1), Junior Brother and Cmat have been lined up to play the first 'SOFFT Nights' events, the first venture of new production company SOFFT Productions.
As the organisers explain: ‘The event is both a concert series and an experience. Along with the musical acts, there will be shamanic drumming journey in the woods, bonfires where you can roast your own smores, storytelling in a megalithic cairn and lovers walk around the beautiful lake. Dunderry Park is an immersion into nature and soul and that is what we want these nights to be about. Our plan is that every musician, act and worker will be paid for their time and we have priced the tickets to reflect this since it is only a 100 person event. We think that people will get behind it.'"
Tickets are €60 and available from this link.
