The American rock bands will play gigs in Dublin and Galway in 2020
There has been a number of big gig announcements this morning to keep both music fans (and their loved ones who are desperately in search of a Christmas present for them) happy.
Pop-rock duo Twenty One Pilots will play Dublin's RDS next summer for their first Irish gig in several years.
The Ohio band will play the RDS on June 25th as part of the 'Summer in the City' gig series. They'll be supported by Blackbear and Nothing But Thieves. Tickets are €59.50 and go on sale this Friday, November 29th at 9am.
If last year is anything to go by, there will be more gigs announced for Summer in the City soon - so keep your eyes peeled.
Meanwhile, after a successful gig at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2018, The Flaming Lips will return to Galway for a gig at the festival's Big Top in 2020.
Wayne Coyne and co. - who released their 15th album 'King's Mouth' earlier this year - play the GIAF on Saturday, July 18th.
Tickets are €49.50 and on sale from this link, also this Friday at 9am.
Pixies have also been previously announced for the GIAF 2020, with more to come - watch this space.
