The BBC have made a U-turn on their decision to axe this year's Top Of the Pops Christmas special.
They had decided to show old videos from the TOTP2 archives in the programme's place, but after public outcry - including Simon Cowell offering to buy the format and have it screened on UTV - Beeb bosses have conceded.
There'll even be two programmes - one on Christmas Day and one on New Year's Eve - which will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates.
"With shows on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, 'Top Of The Pops' has never been bigger," said BBC1 controller Jay Hunt. "The shows will form the centrepiece of a massive musical offering during the festive season that we hope viewers are really going to enjoy."
