There's so many fantastic Irish acts performing at this weekend's Hard Working Class Heroes festival, it was tough to whittle our recommendations down to just ten. With 101 acts performing across seven Dublin venues over three nights, you'll be spoilt for choice this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Whoever you're planning to see, make sure to catch some of these guys, you won't regret it.
Halves Thursday, The Workman's Club, 11pm-11.30pm
This ambient Dublin group played a blinder at HWCH 2008 before disappearing off the radar for the past while. Now they're back and set to release their debut album 'It Goes, It Goes (Forever and Ever)' with some even more impressive instrument swapping and atmospheric electronics on October 29th.

R.S.A.G. The Button Factory, Friday, 11pm-11.30pm
Ok so this recommendation is somewhat predictable, but Jeremy Hickey's live performances really are breathtaking and his second album 'Be It Right Or Wrong' is an impressive feat too. If you've yet to catch one of his sets with live drums, backing tracks and virtual band make sure you rectify that this Friday.
