We here at entertainment.ie/music are today delighted to announce that four of Dublin's most impressive up n' coming live acts have signed on the dotted line to play eLive, entertainment.ie's regular live music showcase.
Tickets for the show, which will be held on Thursday April 4th in The Mercantile on Dublin's Dame Street, are completely free and are available via entertainment.ie/elive.
Acts who've played our gig series to date include Meter Choice winners Delorentos, as well as And So I Watch You From Afar, Heathers, Bouts, Leanne Harte, Heritage Centre, Bantum, Cfit, VerseChorusVerse and many more.
The April 4th line-up is one of our best yet. The Spikes are one of Dublin's most exciting (and loudest) rock acts and their latest release 'Move To Mars' is set to drop just days before eLive opens its doors.
Electro-poppers Vann have a little bit of Talking Heads and LCD Soundsystem in their genes, which is perfectly okay by us, and they've been (rightly) hailed as an outstanding live band.
You might recognise Tara Lee from RTEs Raw and also the band Juliet's Rescue (themselves eLive alumni) but she's also a singer/songwriter of some repute. We're not quite sure where she finds the time.
Red Kid have been the recipients of some pretty extensive praise throughout their tenure so far. Their live energy and verve (think The Stooges and The Stones, with a little bit of Velvet Undergroud mixed in for goose measure) has seen them play heralded sets at Electric Picnic and Castlepalooza, among others.
Tickets for eLive at The Mercantile on April 4th are completely free and available via entertainment.ie/elive.
