The ruffled shirt and blazer that the late musician wore in the iconic 'Purple Rain' film were sold at auction over the weekend, fetching $96,000 EACH after they were sold to unnamed buyers.

The auction was held by Profiles in History, an auction house that specialises in Hollywood memorabilia.
They sold a lot of Prince-related items over the weekend, including a prop diamond and pearl necklace from the 'Diamonds & Pearls' video, which fetched $8,320; knee-high boots that Prince had worn on his LoveSexy tour, which sold for $17,920, and a shirt similar to the one worn in the film, which he wore on the Purple Rain tour:
