Having already announced plans of a Cork performance as part of Live at the Marquee on 28th June, The National have this morning announced plans for a return trip to our island in November.
Matt Berninger and co. will play The O2 on Sunday 10th November and the Odyssey in Belfast the previous night, 9th November.
The band's sixth album Trouble Will Find Me will hit the shelves in Ireland on May 17th, so fans will have plenty of time to get used to the new material in advance of the Irish shows. In an interview with UNCUT magazine, Berninger described the upcoming album as "more immediate and visceral" than their previous work.
