The BRITs will take place on February 20th
The 2019 BRIT Awards have announced the first three acts that will perform on the night.
Little Mix have been announced as one of the acts that will take to the stage at The O2 in London on February 20th. The group made the announcement on Twitter, with a shout out to... a number of their fans.

The girl group released their new album 'LM5' late last year, and will perform two sold-out nights at Dublin's 3Arena in October this year.
As well as Little Mix hitting up the BRIT Awards, Irish fans will be delighted to hear George Ezra will also take to the stage on the night. Ezra's song 'Shotgun' topped the Irish singles' chart of 2018. Newcomer Jorja Smith have also been announced as a performer in February. Smith released her debut album 'Lost & Found' last year.
? STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING! ? Hold the cornflakes and step away from the coffee because @LittleMix, @JorjaSmith and @george_ezra are performing at The #BRITs 2019! This is gonna be epic! ???

All three of the artists are up for awards on the night. Leading the nominees for this year's ceremony include Anne-Marie and Dua Lipa for Single of the Year; and The 1975 for Best Album.
No doubt there will be plenty more acts announced in the run-up to the BRIT Awards taking place. Here's hoping that there's a few Irish acts included in the line-up too.
