Unfortunately, after the events of a few weeks ago in the Phoenix Park this story has a familiar ring to it but on Saturday night in Las Vegas, a Tenacious D fan was stabbed at the duo’s Mandalay Bay House of Blues gig.
According to report, a "brutal" fight broke out in the crowd which resulted in "at least one person" sustaining injuries. Tenacious D – otherwise known as Jack Black and Kyle Gass – were on stage when the incident started and the scheduled 90-minute show was cut short by a half-hour, while concertgoers were told not to leave until the area was secured.
It's believed the victim was stabbed in the leg and thankfully they're set to make a full recovery having been whisked away to hospital almost immediately. Last night, the local police chief confirmed that one suspect had been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
Hopefully things are a lot calmer when Black and Gass make the trip to Dublin on 20 October for a gig in the O2.
