The independent festival runs in Meath on June 4th and 5th
Born out of the Spirit of Folk Festival from several years back, SoFFT Nights launched as a gig series during the pandemic in a bid to bring some much-needed live entertainment to the masses, albeit in a socially distanced way.
Now that restrictions have been lifted, the first SoFFT Nights festival is set to take place in the same venue - Dunderry Park, Co. Meath - this June Bank Holiday Weekend (4th and 5th). It's a celebration of both music and wellness, with a large variety of non-musical activities for both grown-ups and kids - from yoga and astronomy talks, to bat walks and sound baths.
If you're heading along, here's everything you need to know.
WHO'S PLAYING?
On the music programme, you'll find the likes of Lisa O'Neill, Elaine Mai, Tolu Makay, Pastiche, Moxie and Kila - and lots more.
WHERE IS IT?
Dunderry Park is in the village of Dunderry, which is 10 minutes' drive from both Navan and Trim, two nearby towns. It's about 45 minutes' drive from Dublin City.
ARE TICKETS STILL ON SALE?
Yes, tickets are still available and you can buy them (as well as bus tickets) here. They're €80 plus booking fee for the weekend, or €45 plus booking fee for a day ticket. Campervan tickets are also available, for ``€60.
It's a family-friendly event, with kids under-12 going free.
HOW DO WE GET THERE?
This year, a bus is running from Dublin City Centre (Custom House Quay) to the festival site, departing at 12.15pm sharp and returning (departing Dunderry) at midnight.
IS CAMPING AVAILABLE?
All camping tickets are sold out.
WHAT'S THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE?
Saturday's weather is looking pretty good - sunshine with a bit of cloud throughout the afternoon, and temperatures of 14-15 degrees.
Sunday is an altogether cloudier day, according to the Yr.no forecast, but no rain is predicted (as yet - always pack an umbrella or raincoat because it is Ireland, after all.)
