One of our favourite up and coming Irish acts, Sacred Animals, have chosen to cover Twin Shadow for their new single.
The project of Wexford man Darragh Nolan, Sacred Animals completely wowed us with their brilliant EP 'Welcome Home' last year, and are now set to release a version of George Lewis Jr's 'Castles In The Snow' from the increasingly infectious album 'Forget', on January 27th. The song will be available to download from https://quarterinchcollective.com/ and is currently streaming via Soundcloud.
D'you know what we'd like to see? We'd like to see Sacred Animals support Twin Shadow when he comes to Dublin to play Crawdaddy on February 19th. In the meantime, they play Whelan's tonight (Jan 11th) for the very reasonable price of €5. Highly recommended.
