No matter how many times Ryan Adams threatens to quit music, he never quite manages it. After splitting from The Cardinals last month, Adams claimed he was was 'stepping back' from making music, but he has now reappeared with new music at werewolph.com.

Werewolph was an alias that Adams had occasionally used before to record 'death metal.' The three new psyche-tinged tracks on the website mark the first work to surface from Adams since leaving The Cardinals, and since his marriage to Mandy Moore.

Appropriate to Werewolph's death metal background, the three tracks currently streaming are entitled 'Dead People Unite', 'Evil Weekend' and 'Mega Wizards,' and can be found under a bizarre pentagram pizza. Quite.

He is also due to release a book later this year.
