The pop star plays Boris Johnson in the video for 'Can't Stop Christmas'
Robbie Williams may have released his first Christmas album 'The Christmas Present' last year, but 2020 has inspired the pop star to add a new festive tune to his collection.
Williams' new song 'Can't Stop Christmas' was first unveiled several weeks ago and now the video has landed.
The song is inspired by the crap year we've all had thanks to Covid, with lyrics like "So what are we to do about your FaceTimes and your Zooms?" and "If you're wondering what I like, stacks of sanitiser will do fine."
The video, meanwhile, sees Williams portraying UK PM Boris Johnson, although he looks more like Peter Kay to us. There are also actors portraying former Prime Minister Theresa May and UK Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty.
As cringey as it is, however, we have to admit that it also contains the right level of cheese required for a Christmas pop song.
