The battle for online supremacy is still waging. Rihanna, who plays Dublin this weekend, has overtaken Justin Bieber as the most popular musician on YouTube.
The channels dedicated to each have a combined total of 3.78 billion views, with Rihanna in the lead by about 2 milllion. Lady Gaga is lingering in third place with a total 2.25 billion views.
The reason for Rihanna's surge in popularity is all down to a recent restructuring of YouTube policy, placing more emphasis on subscribers and channels - with Rihanna the owner of over 8.75 million subscribers.
However, Bieber remains the dominant force on Twitter with 54.4 million followers to Rihanna's 30 milllion showing that the Canadian pop tyke still has some clout in the online world.
Rihanna plays the Aviva Stadium tonight, Friday 21st June.
