All doesn't seem to be very well in the Bon Jovi camp after reports emerged this morning which claim that the band's longtime guitarist Richie Sambora has been fired from their current 'Because We Can' world tour.

Sambora pulled out of the tour back in April, citing "personal reasons" but indicated he was keen to rejoin the tour recently but information we received today suggests that Sambora has been officially shown the door by Bon Jovi, temporarily at least, according to RumourFix.com.

The reason for the wrangling allegedly comes down money. Sambora, one of the band's founding members, was earning somewhere in the region of €1.28 million per month of touring, which adds up to 20% of the band's entire profits. Philip 'Phil X' Xenidis, who stood in for Sambora during his absence, makes a fraction of that and has apparently been seen as the more cost effective option for the time being.

Sambora is reported to be "very upset" at the news, a source quoted by RumourFix said. "[He] wants to go back onstage - that's his first love."

We'd be upset too if we were denied a several million dollars payment by Jon Bon Jovi...
