In the realm of bad ideas, starting a brawl with the pound-for-pound king of boxing would be right up there with any of them - but that's exactly what rapper T.I. is alleged to have done this past weekend in Las Vegas.
As per reports in TMZ and Rolling Stone T.I., in his infinite wisdom, got into an altercation with the undefeated, five-weight world champion Floyd Mayweather, and saw fit to take a swing at him in a burger restaurant. This obviously didn't go down well with Mayweather or his entourage and a chair-throwing melee ensued.
TMZ claims the brawl was a result of T.I. being upset by an Instagram photo his wife Tameka 'Tiny' Harris uploaded of herself with Mayweather's daughter, causing Mayweather to yell obscenities at the rapper.
An employee of the burger restaurant was slashed in his side during the altercation but refused medical treatment or to co-operate with police. T.I. had left the scene by the time the police arrived, while Mayweather was just leaving.
