Azealia Banks, the rapper with the mouth overflowing with f-words and other such expletives, is set to perform in Dublin tomorrow in The Academy. It may come as a surprise to many that her debut album has still not been released, but is still in production. According to the rapper-singer herself, she is currently collaborating with electro-duo Disclosure for some of the unheard music set to be released in the new enough feature. She tweeted 'About to enter the greatest studio session EVAR.!!!!!', going on to later add, 'Just had an amazing session with @disclosure !!!!'
The unfinished album, Broke With Expensive Taste, has undergone a number of setbacks since Banks signed with Interscope. To tide fans over, her next single for release will be a collaboration with Pharrell Williams entitled 'ATM JAM'.
In other rap news, Kanye West has hit back at his ever-growing haters with the news that he has achieved his fifth solo number one album in America. Yeezus, the latest creation of the pigeon chest-proud artist has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart this week, after selling 221,535 copies. One of the new tracks is entitled 'Black Skinhead'. Fan or not, it must be granted the star doesn't steer away from controversy at any stage in his career. Following countless rants and a backlash from the public in terms of personality poles, you would think he would play it slightly safer, but that's not the befitting direction of a man who once had a gold grill.
