A slew of new gigs have been announced for next spring/summer
If you're looking for a Christmas present for the live music lover in your life, there's good news.
The past two Christmases have been difficult to tick that box (there are only so many livestreams one person can endure, after all) - but a slew of new gigs have been announced in recent days that might offer you some ideas.
The Prodigy have just announced three Irish dates for June 2023: Cork's Musgrave Park (June 28th), Dublin's Fairview Park (June 29th) and Belfast's Belsonic festival (June 30th). Tickets are from €59.50 and on sale this Friday at 9am.
'Thrift Store' rapper Macklemore will bring his 'Ben Tour' to Dublin's 3Arena on April 4th 2023; tickets are on sale this Thursday at 10am.
Folk troupe The Lumineers will play St. Anne's Park, Dublin on Friday June 2nd, with support from Sigrid and Vance Joy (tickets from €49.90 on sale this Friday at 10am), while Lionel Richie will also play St. Anne's Park on June 4th with support from The Human League. The other (previously-announced) gig for St. Anne's Park is Pulp on Friday June 9th.
Texas will play the Trinity Summer Series on June 26th 2023; tickets from €59.90 including booking fee go on sale Friday 11th November at 9am.
The War on Drugs will play the Trinity Summer Series on June 27th; tickets from €49.90 are on sale this Friday at 10am.
Meanwhile, Peter Gabriel has just announced his first tour in almost a decade, which will conclude in Dublin on June 25th. Tickets from €67.45 including booking fee go on sale this Friday at 10am.
