Music producer Rodney Jerkins AKA Darkchild has admitted that he hopes to release an album of unheard Michael Jackson songs. Jerkins co-wrote and co-produced several tracks on Jackson's last full album 'Invincible' from 2001, and had been working with the late King of Pop on a number of songs before his death last year.

Speaking to VladTV he said, "I worked with Michael for years, it was a blessing. When I first decided I wanted to be a producer at 11 years old, I wrote on a piece of paper 'one day I'm going to work with Michael Jackson'.

"I was devastated by his death... and we have to preserve his legacy. I'm about to work on an unreleased project that we're talking about doing. It's definitely going to [happen]."

However, Jackson's death poses a number of legal problems with getting the music released.
"It takes time though, you've got to do a lot of the red tape, but there's definitely stuff to come. I learned a lot from him, I really did."

News also came this week that Jackson's doctors have avoided facing any charges in relation to the singer's death.
