The rapper cancelled a gig in Boston due to chest pain
Rapper Post Malone had an unfortunate incident on stage last week when he fell into a hole in the stage mid-gig.
The tattooed musician - real name Austin Post - was playing St. Louis and was performing his song 'Circles' when he tumbled into an uncovered gap that was intended to lower and raise his guitar onto the stage.
He hit the deck pretty hard, as the video below shows - but continued the gig after a short pause. Later, he was taken to hospital to be checked out and took to social media that he was fine, and had been given paid medication.
However, it seems that the injury has lingered as he posted an update to fans yesterday apologising for cancelling his gig in Boston.
"On tour I usually wake up at 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke to a cracking sounds [sic] on the right side of my body. I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before," he wrote, adding that he had been having a 'stabbing pain' whenever he breathes or moves, and that he has been hospitalised.
Get well soon, Post!
