A police report filed in the wake of Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland's death last week has revealed that a lot of drugs were found on the tour bus where he was found dead.

Alongside two baggies of cocaine, police found various medications including sedatives, anti-anxiety medication, Viagra, narcotics and anti-psychotic medication. They also found clear baggies with a "green leafy substance" in it.

Weiland's wife had asked a friend to check in on him after she could not get in touch, and he was found in the bedroom of the tour bus on Thursday evening last.

She later asked people "not to glorify this tragedy" after his death.

Although his exact cause of death has not been confirmed, the singer had struggled with drug addiction throughout his life. He was 48.
