Alright, so the tour hasn't been officially confirmed as yet, but a source told The Sun as well as Australian tabloid The Daily Telegraph that Robert Plant has finally caved and agreed to join his Led Zeppelin bandmates on a live tour that the public have been baying for ever since December's "one-off" reunion gig in London's O2 arena.

Apparently, Jimmy Page, John-Paul Jones and Jason Bonham (son of original member John) had been rehearsing with an American singer and were adamant to go on tour with or without their original frontman. Seemingly this was enough for Plant to overcome the idea of the industry's endless paperwork that had previously discouraged him from the comeback.

The Led Zeppelin re-union tour is rumoured to take place in summer 2009. We'll be sure to let you know as soon if and when there's any more info.
