Noel Gallagher has kept a dignified silence throughout the torrent of abuse directed at him on Twitter (and elsewhere) by his younger brother Liam over the last few years, but he's finally had a subtle dig at his former bandmate.
Gallagher is heading out on tour with U2 on the European leg of their Joshua Tree anniversary tour - which rolls into Dublin in just over two weeks - and posted a picture of rehearsals to Instagram yesterday.
So far, so normal - except that he also took the opportunity to take a sly potshot at Liam's standard Twitter sign-off (and title of his forthcoming album), 'As You Were'.
Maybe calling U2 'toff rock' and 'beige f**ks' the other day was the straw that broke the camel's back - but all we have to say to Noel is IF YOU CALLED YOUR NEW ALBUM 'AS YOU WEREN'T' IT WOULD ACTUALLY BE THE BEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN IN MUSIC.
