He may have been replaced by Axl Rose as singer of AC/DC, but Brian Johnson had other axel problems (sorry) at the weekend when a car he was driving flipped over.
The vocalist - who was forced to retire from touring due to problems with his hearing - was taking part in a celebrity challenge at the Silverstone race track on Saturday, which he has participated in many times before.
Johnson was driving his Austin A35 vintage car when he lost control, with the car flipping over and losing its windshield in the process.
As NME reports, he was attended to by medical staff but luckily walked away with no injuries.
Johnson had previously blamed his hearing damage on driving race cars without earplugs in the past. He told Howard Stern: “I heard my eardrum burst, because I forgot to put my plugs in under my helmet. That’s how it happened. Music had nothing to do with it.”
