You can now generate your own virtual festival line-up

It's almost December, which means it's time to look back and reflect on the year that has passed - and more importantly, on the music that you listened to most.

The ever-popular Spotify Wrapped is due to land any day now, and will give a much more detailed breakdown of the hours and minutes you spent listening to each song, album and artist.

In the meantime, however, you may have seen other social media users sharing their own personalised 'festival line-up' poster.

This basically monitors your Spotify or Last.fm account (you must have one of these to participate), pulls in the bands and artists you've listened to most this year, and creates a 'dream festival' line-up based on your stats.

To generate your own poster, you need to go to Instafest.app, sign in to your Spotify or Last.fm account, agree to the terms and let the app do the work.

Depending on how mortifying your results are, you can choose to have your poster based on stats from the last 4 weeks, last 6 months or from your all-time stats.

As for whether you'll share the results? That's up to you...
