Having just released their really quite good second album 'Helplessness Blues' a couple of weeks ago, Fleet Foxes are set to visit Ireland to play at Belfast's Open House Festival on June 25th and Cork's Live at the Marquee on June 26th. While the Seattle indie-folksters will play with The Low Anthem at their Belfast date, until now there had been no news as to who the "special guests" would be at their Cork show.

Ragged Words reports that the man formerly known as Final Fantasy, Mr. Owen Pallett will play support to Fleet Foxes in the Marquee. The news was confirmed by promoters Foggy Notions via Twitter on Friday.

The violin virtuoso, who has composed string arrangements for the likes of Arcade Fire and The Last Shadow Puppets, will no doubt be performing tracks from his latest album 'Heartland' as well as old Final Fantasy numbers and hopefully some of his always spectacular cover versions.
