"But what a glow up!"

Ready to feel old? It's been ten years since One Direction - namely Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - performed for the first time on 'The X Factor'.

And how did TV host James Corden choose to mark the occasion? By forcing Niall to revisit the band's first ever performance on the singing competition series.

The Irish singer gave it absolute socks as the boys covered Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida'. And he could not be more embarrassed about it.

Actress Thandie Newton commented on how he looked such a "sweetheart". Horan just sat there going "f***" and James was loving the cringiness of the dancing.

"But what a glow up!" Horan commented, looking on the bright side.

He reflected that "those performances haunt me, but I wouldn't be here without them."

Delight in the cheesiness of it below.
