It seems that even in death Michael Jackson isn't too far from controversy. The new single from Jackson's upcoming posthumous release entitled This Is It was previously recorded over 18 years ago by an obscure Puerto Rican and the Jackson estate declined to initially pay any royalties. The song was co-written by Paul Anka (who also co-wrote Sinatra's My Way) who immediately complained and was hastily awarded 50 percent of the copywright, which could end up being a massive payday for the Canadian crooner. "They realize it's a mistake, they realize it's my song, they realize it's my production of his vocal in my studio and I am getting 50 percent of the whole project, actually, which is fair," Anka said on TMZ.com.
