Following his recent Polaris Prize nomination, Caribou will play a Dublin date towards the end of 2010. Mastermind Dan Snaith and his band will play Crawdaddy on Thursday December 9th. Tickets priced €16 are on sale now from tickets.ie.
After impressing crowds at Limerick's Thomond Park in support of Bob Dylan at the weekend, Alabama 3 have announced an acoustic and unplugged show at Crawdaddy on August 4th. The coutry rock gospel dance fusionists are also set to play similar acoustic shows at Galway's Roisin Dubh this Friday 9th July and at Leopardtown Racecourse on Thursday 5th August. Tickets for the new Crawdaddy date are on sale now priced €22.50.
Elsewhere, a new Snow Patrol date has also appeared on ticketmaster, but it's for all the way into 2012. According to the ticketing website the band will play Belfast's Odyssey Arena on March 20th 2010 with tickets priced £33.00 - £35.50. Hmmm, this seems like a mistake, but suggests Gary Lightbody and co. have something up their sleeves after their massive homecoming gig in Bangor this June.
