The actress had disputed his "very disturbing" account of their relationship twenty years ago
One of the biggest music news stories that dominated headlines and spawned many opinion pieces last week was that of Moby and Natalie Portman.
Portman disputed the musician's account of their relationship in his new memoir 'Then It Fell Apart', instead describing it as " a much older man being creepy with me when I just had graduated high school."
Moby then took to Instagram to double down on his claim that they had dated and been in a relationship. However, following a backlash, he has now written an apology to the actress. "It was truly inconsiderate of me to not let her know about her inclusion in the book beforehand," he wrote, "and equally inconsiderate for me to not fully respect her reaction."
He added: "Also I accept that given the dynamic of our almost 14 year age difference I absolutely should've acted more responsibly and respectfully when Natalie and I first met almost 20 years ago."
Portman has not yet commented on the apology.
