She maybe the current 'it girl' in pop music but even the likes of Miley Cyrus are prone to a wee bit of tour anxiety it seems.

Just days removed from her most recent publicity storm, where she sparked up a rather curious looking cigarette on stage at the EMAs in Amsterdam, Cyrus has been speaking to MTV about her fears that arena will be empty when she embarks on her 'Bangerz' US tour early next year.

Will the tour be in the same vein as her particularly extravagant appearances lately; foam fingers, twerking...and that tongue which seems to be somewhat independent of the rest of her body?

Apparently so, it seems. Speaking to MTV News, Cyrus said: "I just want everything I do to feel like people going to a different world because people always make it seem I don't fit in to what this normal kind of world is. So I want to take people out of the normal world and go into my world. I think that's part of why I was inspired to have this alien theme for the EMAs. I just want it to feel like anything is possible and everything goes in the arena when I'm there, I'm pro everything. Everyone's loved. Everyone's accepted."

Aww.

Miley's new album Bangerz has sold upwards of 250,000 copies since its release but those numbers have been dwarfed by proven commodity Eminem, whose recent Marshall Mathers LP 2 is already well on its way to selling a million copies - leaving people in the Miley camp worrying that all this notoriety and YouTube views won't actually translate to record sales and sold out concert tours.

"Obviously I'm excited about my tour", Miley continued. "I get nervous that I'm gonna get there and no one's going to show up, but hopefully some people show up."

We wouldn't worry too much about that now Miley, to be honest.
