They say to assume makes an 'ass' of 'u' and 'me' - and an American celebrity gossip magazine were left feeling fairly silly yesterday after inadvertently body-shaming Miley Cyrus.

As you can imagine, Cyrus is not the type of star to let such pass-remarkable comments go - so when a picture that she posted on Instagram was picked up by a magazine and given the headline 'Miley Cyrus Pregnant?!', she wasn't long in putting them in their place.

She reposted the pic, saying "Not pregnant just eating a shit ton full of tofurkey", before rightfully declaring the assumption as 'rude'. After all, if there's one time of the year when humans get a pass for having an extra bit of padding, it's winter.
