Miley Cyrus has been forced to obtain an emergency restraining order against a crazed Arizonan fan who was arrested earlier this month outside a residence he believed was owned by the singer.
24-year-old Devon Meek has been held in a psychiatric hospital since the incident on May 16th. Meek was arrested outside a property in Los Angeles after demanding to meet Cyrus, telling police officers on the scene to shoot him in the head if he Cyrus refused to meet him, according to a statement from Detective Rosibel Smith.
Smith went on to say that Meek told police during interview that he wouldn't stop attempting to meet Cyrus after he is released from psychiatric hospital and, according to Rolling Stone, "he will continue to go to Ms. Cyrus' residence until Ms. Cyrus accepts him or he dies."
In the restraining documents, which were filed last Friday, Cyrus' representatives claimed Meek thinks that Cyrus is communicating with him through her music. The restraining order will prohibit Meek from being anywhere within 100 yards of the singer.
