The 28-year-old was with Quavo at the time
Sad news today as reports from the US suggest that American rapper Takeoff has been shot and killed in Houston, Texas.
Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was one-third of Georgia-based hip-hop group Migos, alongside Offset and Quavo.
The group was founded in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2008 and shot to international prominence after featuring in Season 1 of Donald Glover's comedy-drama series 'Atlanta', and later scoring a big hit with their song 'Bad and Boujee'.
Reports suggest that the 28-year-old rapper was playing dice with Quavo at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston when he was shot and killed around 2.30am local time.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and two other people were injured and taken to hospital. Quavo was not injured in the incident.
RIP.
