Some good news for Mumford and Sons fans getting antsy about the lack of new material from that band: Marcus Mumford is fronting a new supergroup, and it features Elvis Costello.
The New Basement Tapes, as they are known, performed the track 'Kansas City' on Friday's Ellen show, and you can watch it below.
The group also features Jim James of My Morning Jacket and members of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and Dawes.
They recorded an album based upon the recently unearthed (and unused) songs that Bob Dylan wrote during his Basement Tapes sessions in the late 1960s, which also features Johnny Depp on guitar. 'Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes' was produced by T. Bone Burnett and is out now.
