Never let it be said that Louis Tomlinson is not generous with his rather substantial fortune.

The former One Direction man and current solo star made a really nice gesture recently by donating a large sum to the medical fund of 9-year-old Rylee Sanford, who is a huge fan of the boyband.

The youngster has a condition called bilateral close-lipped schizencephaly, which causes cerebral palsy, and her parents set up a YouCaring account to help with her medical costs. Father-of-one Tomlinson made an anonymous donation, later revealed to be $10,000, with the message 'Sending all the love.x', which led other fans to make donations.

Tomlinson's former bandmate Zayn Malik also shared a link to the fund, which led to a spike in donations.
